We know that Xiaomi is about to announce the successor of the Redmi Note 9 series for quite some time now. The supposed Redmi Note 10 series phones have already received MIIT certification in China, where it was listed with model numbers M2007J17C and M2007J22C.

The same device has now shown up on the China 3C authority website, which according to Digital Chat Station, is the upcoming Redmi Note 10 series phones. The listing shows both phones will support 5G network bands while the M2007J17C will feature a 33W Fast charging solution. The M2007J22C, probably the vanilla variant, will debut with a 22.5W quick charge solution.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro (M2007J17C) is expected to feature Samsung’s 108MP HM2 ISOCELL sensor and will be accompanied by telephoto and macro shooters. A quick look that the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite (M2007J17G) shows the device is what’s heading to China. The model numbers suggest that with “G” denoting global while “C” signifies Chinese.

But then, the Mi 10T Lite features a 64MP, and hence, if the rumors are true, the Chinese users will be getting a tweaked Mi 10 Lite. That won’t come as a surprise, though. It has been the nature of Xiaomi debuting the same phone, most times reworked, in different regions with a new name. We have seen that so many times this year between Redmi and POCO, which Poco executive says the company has no plans of stopping.

Also, we expect the Snapdragon 750G SoC to power the Pro model while Dimensity 820 will feature in the Redmi Note 10. And as for pricing, one of the devices is rumored to start at CNY 1,000 ($150). If the rumors are true, the device is going to be the most affordable 5G-powered phone. That will also fulfill the promise made by the company early this year to make 5G phones affordable for everyone.
