Xiaomi has now started sending out a stable MIUI 12 update to the Mi 8 Pro, days after the vanilla version grabbed the update globally. It’s also the global version of the Mi 8 Pro that’s receiving the feature-packed MIUI 12 update for the first time. But as usual with all OTA updates, it will take some time before appearing on all eligible units.
The update, which comes as MIUI 12.0.1.0 QECMIXM, weighs in at 726MB. It comes along with all the features of MIUI 12, alongside bug fixes and optimization. As per the changelog, the MIUI 12 update for Mi 8 Pro brings a new gesture control for the control center.
