It is that time of the year for the new Redmi Note series phones. The company has been working on it for months, with many rumors about the device on the internet. Luckily, we do not have to wait any longer for the official unveiling as the company confirms the release of the Redmi Note 14 series next week.
Redmi has posted on its Weibo page, “See you next week,” suggesting the launch of the Redmi Note 14. The post does not say exactly when next week, but we know there is a launch event scheduled. We will see two new devices, the Redmi Note 14 and Redmi Note 14 Pro.
The Redmi Note 14 series will have improved shock resistance, waterproofing, and extended software support. Also, we will see a new design, which is different from the Redmi Note 13.
Redmi has decided on a squircle camera island at the back of the Redmi Note 14 series. It houses four cutouts – three camera sensors and one LED flash. The phones will support 5G connectivity.

Xiaomi is proposing extended software support for the Redmi Note 14 series. It is likely to extend to new models after them, but we do not know how many years of support they will get. The company offers two years of Android updates to the Redmi Note series phones. They will likely boost it to four Android updates.
