Google has started rolling out the Android Auto 13.2 stable update. The latest build did not arrive on the beta channel, probably due to the fact there are no new changes. It has been under the hood optimizations and bug fixes, although the company is working on new releases in the future.
Android Auto might be the most buggy Android app, given the volume of complaints we see each day. When the app is not crashing, the connection will have issues, or it will refuse to work entirely. These new features include the ability to make calls with a third-party app like WhatsApp. Currently, you can only use the phone app to initiate a phone call. Of course, most people turn to WhatsApp for that, but due to the restrictions, you can not. Google hopes to address this barrier.
