The August 2024 Google Play system update has been released but is yet to start rolling out even to Pixel phones. This update is made available for Android phones every month to improve performance and fix bugs to make our devices secure.
It’s necessary to install a new Google Play system update, but unfortunately, you cannot download the August version just yet. Google usually announces the release weeks before it starts rolling out the update, which is the case of the August 2024 Play system update.
Most Android phones are running the June update, with Pixel phones on the July build. Meanwhile, with the August release, Google is improving Device Connectivity, Network Usage, Security, Stability, and Updatability. There are big fixes for System Management & Diagnostics related services.
