It was never going to be easy for Huawei smartphones outside China after their Google license was revoked by the US government. The situation has seen them relinquish their position to Xiaomi, now the third-best smartphone brand in the world. According to market research agency strategy analytics, released for February 2020, a total of 62M smartphone units were shipped, compared to 2019, smartphone shipping has seen a decline of 39%.
