AnTuTu Benchmark has now released the best performing mid-range phones for October. The latest list compared to the previous releases didn’t show any big surprise. According to the AnTuTu, “there are not many mid-range models recently updated,” and that’s why there’s a slow movement across the list.

However, it is the turn of the Redmi 10X Pro to wear the crown, having pulled an average point of 398,483 to overtake the reigning champion, Redmi 10X 5G, which could only gather a mean score of 393,622, even though both phones feature the same SoC. But looking at the list, the Redmi 10X Pro that participated in the testing has 8GB RAM against a 6GB RAM Redmi 10X. That’s probably the reason for the change.

Further down the list of AnTuTu best performing mid-range phones for October is Huawei Nova 7 Pro taking the fourth spot from the Nova 7, which now occupies the fifth position on the list. There was only a slight margin when comparing their respective mean points: 382,866 against 382,771. Both phones run the Kirin 985 SoC, same with Honor 30 that comes third on the list with a mean score of 387,136.

The 6-10 are Honor X10 ( 362,276), Honor 30S (353,787) Huawei Move 7 SE (352,101), Redmi K30 5G Extreme Edition (350,605), and Oppo Reno 4 ( 336,914). It’s only two devices, out of the ten that participated in the test, that runs Snapdragon SoC; Snapdragon 765G SoC, to be exact. Huawei’s own Kirin SoC dominated the list, but it’s Mediatek Dimensity 820 SoC that offers the best performance. That’s at least, according to the list of AnTuTu best performing mid-range phones for October.

We expect a slow movement again when AnTuTu releases this month best performing mid-range phones. There isn’t much going on as OEMs are focusing on their next flagship phones of next year.
