Samsung is slowly moving all attention to One UI 8, but there’s one device still yet to get the current release. That’s the Galaxy A34, and it’s getting the much-anticipated upgrade in Korea. We expect expansion to other regions in the coming days.

The Galaxy A34 launched in 2023, running Android 13. It currently runs Android 14 and is still eligible for three OS upgrades. With Android 15-based One UI 8 available, Samsung will release additional OS upgrade, Android 16 and Android 17, after which support elapses. For now, we recommend you install the Galaxy A34 One UI 7 update.

Samsung is rolling out a stable A346NKSU9DYE7 for the Galaxy A34 users. It’s a limited release, as only those in Korea are getting the much-anticipated upgrade. We expect a wider availability in the coming days, but you can always check the update manually.
Meanwhile, Samsung is rolling out the update with new features, optimizations, and bug fixes. New adjustable home screen widgets, new app icons, Live Notifications, and more have all been introduced. Additionally, there have been some bug fixes, improvements, and optimizations. That includes a new security patch level to improve security.
While we wait for a global release, you can check for the update. Head to Settings > System updates > Download and install. Follow the screen prompts to complete the download, and reboot the device to complete the installation.
