Xiaomi continues to dispatch the Android 12-based MIUI 13 update to its eligible phones. It’s the turn of global Xiaomi Mi 11 units to receive the update after arriving in China and Europe. However, it’s a limited rollout at the moment to give time for Mi Pilots to preview the ROM and see if there’s a bug missed by developers.
The global Xiaomi Mi 11 Android 12-based MIUI 13 update is seeding with a version number – MIUI 13.0.1.0 SKBMIXM. It comes with the features of MIUI 13 while pushing the Android OS to Android 12. Interestingly, bug fixes and optimizations are seeding with the build. Perhaps, the issues reported by early adopters are fixed in this current build.
According to the changelog log, home screen freezing when the screen is turned on and off rapidly and the UI items overlapping after switching resolution have been addressed. Also, Wallpaper Carousel button issue and lock screen wallpaper replacing home screen wallpaper in some cases got a fix. There’s also a fix for smart refresh rate while the random crashes that occur when the default map is selected seem okay now. You can check all the changes and other bugs that were addressed below.
