The Android 12-based MIUI 13 update has finally started in India, with that POCO F3 GT first to receive the much-anticipated upgrade in that region. Surprisingly, the device isn’t on the list of phones to get the upgrade with the first wave of the rollout. However, it’s a limited release, meaning it will take time before the update gets to the public. Perhaps, those in the list would start getting the update by then.
Xiaomi recently announced the MIUI 13 Android skin in India a couple of days ago. The latest iteration of MIUI presented limited features, but it has improved the stability and performance of MIUI. Compared to previous releases, MIUI 13 seems to be the most stable MIUI build for years now. There have only been a few bugs, which the company has already addressed. Now, the POCO F3 users are getting the latest iteration of MIUI. The update brought all the expected features and has supposedly improved performance and stability. Some of the new additions include a widget, wallpaper, sidebar, and a revamped control center. Also, the Android OS version has been upgraded to Android 12, while that security patch level is in January 2022.
Meanwhile, the POCO F3 GT Android 12-based MIUI 13 update is seeding with a version number – MIUI 13.0.0.10 SKJINXM. It’s limited to Mi Pilots for preview, and hopefully, it will start seeding to everyone in the coming days.
