POCO F3 has become popular for both good and bad things. The affordable price tag has seen many people snap up the phone in the past few months but met some frustrating bugs. They include proximity sensor issues, screen flickering, blue tint, and others. Luckily, the company has addressed some of these issues, but the recent Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 had some POCO F3 on random reboots.

The issue affected random users, and given how quickly it escalated, made the company acknowledge it. Initially, they didn’t say what caused the Random reboots. A moderator in the POCO community forum did suggest overheating, while a user that carried an investigation into the situation found out its “Framework” causing the random reboots. Nevertheless, that’s not the cause of the problems as most people that experienced the problem claimed their phones weren’t hitting up.

Going by the latest MIUI bug report on POCO F3 random reboots, it shows the problem was caused by “Thermal Patch.” We don’t know what that means, but it suggests a heating problem. Luckily, the problem has been resolved for many, why few are still experiencing it. If you’re among those facing the issue, make sure you’re on the latest MIUI version. Xiaomi has supposedly addressed all issues concerning random reboots on POCO F3 with the stable MIUI 12.5.4.0 RKHMIXM.

Meanwhile, if after upgrading your device to the latest build, you don’t notice any difference, you will have to perform a factory reset. According to feedback, some people stopped the random reboots after they hard reset their device. But before resorting to hard reset, make sure you’re on the latest MIUI build for your device. And don’t forget to backup your data to a safe location before resetting to avoid data loss.
