The third batch of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced rollout is already underway and will be completed by next month. That time frame is probably for the unveiling of MIUI 13, which according to recent reports, might debut middle of next month. With that, more devices are now picking up the current MIUI build. The Redmi 9T is currently receiving a new MIUI 12.5 Enhanced based Android 11 update globally.
The current Redmi 9T update comes in a 562MB package. It has a version number – MIUI 12.5.3.0 RJQMIXM. The update log varies – you get features of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced and Android 11 if it’s the first time of upgrading. Those that already upgraded to MIUI 12.5.2.0 RJQMIXM, you’ll get a security patch to improve system security and increase stability.
Meanwhile, the update is currently limited to Mi Pilots. It’s currently under preview, given the outcome before it starts seeding to the public. We expect the preview to take a couple of days, and hopefully, you’ll receive the update in the coming days.
For those who have an authorized Mi Beta account, there’s a link below to download the ROM. And should that return an error, you should give it some time and try again.
