A couple of months ago, Xiaomi announced it’ll upgrade the Redmi Note 8 Pro alongside the Note 8 to Android 11. There were doubts at the early stages, but that cleared when those in the closed beta group received the Android 11 build. Also, Redmi Note 8 stable ROM users in China have started getting a stable MIUI based Android 11 update, which hints at imminent arrival on the Pro variant since both started testing at the same period. As it starts now, Xiaomi will push a new OS to the device users before the arrival of MIUI 12.5.
