Xiaomi, for a couple of months now, has been swiftly rolling out Android 11 updates to eligible devices on their stable. Thus far, only the POCO F2 Pro and POCO X2 have received the update, while the POCO M2 Pro and C3 are probably going to receive the update alongside the MIUI 12.5. Unfortunately, there isn’t a timeframe when we can expect the update on these two mid-range devices. However, we expect Xiaomi to release plans of upgrading other devices not on the first list, and while at that, a new update for POCO M2 Pro and C3 has been released in India.

New update for Poco m2 pro and c3

The update sans both MIUI 12.5 and Android 11, but it did bring the February security patch to improve the system security and stability. It also fixed some bugs and optimized system performance for a seamless transition to Android 11. But as usual, it might take some time before the update appears on your device. Only a few selected users are receiving the update for now for preview. We expect a wider rollout in the next coming days, but that depends on the preview outcome.

Meanwhile, the new update for Poco M2 Pro and C3 has a version number – MIUI 12.0.3.0 QJPINXM and MIUI 12.0.7.0 QCTINXM, respectively. It comes in a 587MB package for the former, while the latter weighs in at 160MB. You should check for the update via the Updater app or use the link attached below to download the ROM. However, it might return an error message, and that’s normal given that the public rollout hasn’t started. Therefore, you should wait for more days for the OTA or try flashing the ROM again using the recovery method.
