While the global users are still waiting for the Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5, the October security patch for Redmi Note 8 has been released in Europe. Perhaps, Xiaomi wants to start deploying the Enhanced Version of MIUI 12.5 with the global users yet to get the October patch.
As for the European models, the October security patch for Redmi Note 8 is seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.0.4.0 RCOEUXM. It weighs 723MB and has bumped the security patch level to October 2021 to increase system security and stability. As usual, the update addressed some issues and optimized performance.
